Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Civil Engineering Summary: The ductility factor of H.S.R.C frame is defined by the formula xf / xy, where xf is the displacement at failure and xy is the yield displacement. The experimental program was conducted on eight specimens. It is divided to three groups: the first group includes testing of three H.S.R.C frames (S1, S2, S3) this frames are bare frame (control specimen) and infilled frame with different thickness of infill wall. The second group includes testing of two H.S.R.C frames (S4, S5) with different ratios between inertia of column and inertia of beam. The third group includes testing of three H.S.R.C frames (S6, S7, S8) with different configuration of connections, changing type of infill wall and changing aspect ratio between heights to length of panel frame. Half scale specimens (frames) were constructed and tested under cyclic loading
