Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Summary: This study was conducted on 8 patients with chin deformity. All patients were treated with osseous genioplasty using computer- guided surgical templates for osteotomy and repositioning the chin. The manipulation and repositioning of the osteotomized segment was guided using surgical-guided templates. The accuracy of these templates was assessed in relation to anteroposterior, transverse and vertical dimensions. Bone and soft tissue changes were predicted preoperatively, virtual treatment plan, immediate and 6 months postoperatively. All patients underwent uneventful healing throughout the postoperative follow up period. Regarding the anteroposterior bony changes, there was a significant increase in mean SN-Pog{u00B0} and Pog- Orbitomental plane distance as a net change between the preoperative, treatment plan and postoperative intervals. While in the interval between the treatment plan and immediate postoperative measurements there was insignificance statistical increase in SN-Pog{u00B0} and the Pog-Orbitomental plane showed statistical significant decrease
