Environmental exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) has been increased throughout the last century and the worldwide using the mobile phone increases the risk of certain biochemical changes. The present study investigated the effect of mobile phone on brain and DNA. Ninety male of rats were allocated into 3 groups, as a control, continuous and discontinuous exposure to EMF using mobile phone (1800 MHz) for 2 hours daily for 2, 4 and 6 weeks. Brain were allocated from each rat to determine the level of Malondialdehyde (MDA), activity of Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Glutathione S- Transferase (GST) and glutahione peroxidase (GSHPx), level of serotonin (5- HT), Dopamine (DA) and Nor - epinephrine (NE) as neurotransmitters were determined in brain. DNA fragmentation was also assessed in the liver of rats
