Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Institute of African Research and Studies - Department of Natural Resources Summary: Two field experiments were conducted at private farm, in Al-Hossin village, El-Bostan reins, Al-Dlingat district, Al-Bihira governorate, Egypt, during the two successive growing seasons of 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 to study the maximizing usage of organic fertilizers to improve potato quality and quantity in north Africa. The following materials and methods were applied. The treatments including: Control (100% mineral fertilizer), 8 treatments with FYM (without and with mineral fertilizer, humic substances and effective microorganisms) and 8 treatments with Compost (without and with mineral fertilizer, humic substances and effective microorganisms). The experimental design was complete randomize block design with 3 replicates. Including 17th treatments as showed above
