Aim of this study was to assess the effect of sole placement of non{u2010}resorbable membrane versus buccal advancement {uFB02}ap in closure of oroantral communica{u019F}on on 6 adult male dogs clinically and histologically using Hematoxylin and Eosin Stain In this prospec{u019F}ve clinical study, Dogs randomly divided into 2 equal groups: Group I: contained 3 dogs (6 sinuses) sacri{uFB01}ced aŌer 4 weeks Group II: contained 3 dogs (6 sinuses) sacri{uFB01}ced aŌer 3 months In both groups, the created oroantral communication in the right side was closed with buccal advancement flap with water tight closure, and the left side in the same dog was closed with non{u2010}resorbable membrane and over closure The results of this series support the view that the use of polytetrafluoroethylene membrane is simple, convenient, has highest osteoblastic activity, improves bone healing and allows successful method for treatment avoiding complication of buccal flap
