Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Orthopedic Surgery Summary: The treatment of wrist flexion deformity in arthrogrypotic children remains controversial. Different methods of correction are used aiming at physiological range of motion and achieving good functional outcome. Patients and methods: 15 patients with 20 fractures with mean age of 2 years presenting to outpatient children hospital were included.all patients had wrist flexion deformity.all patients were managed by surgical correction either soft tissue release or bony procedures. The average gartland and werley score was 8.the mean follow-up duration was 6 months. Surgical treatment is the best option for a functioning outcome
