Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biochemistry Summary: This study was conducted to producing and separating bacitracin and Rhamnolipid-Biosurfactant from Bacillus subtilis bacteria , recognize them by the instrument GC/MS (USA) , evaluate its antibacterial effect in different concentrations 100% , 80% , 60% , 40% and 20% of bacitracin and Rhamnolipid-Biosurfactant against E.coli ; Salmonella typhimurium ; Shigella sonnei ; Listeria monocytogenes and Staphylococcus aureus using disk diffusion method. - The results cleared that 50 æl of bacitracin 100% and 80% were most effective on the growth of Shigella sonnei and Salmonella typhimurium (1.4 cm and 1.3 cm)
