Supraventricular tachycardia is the most common symptomatic pediatric tachyarrhythmia. It affects children of all ages. The most common type of supraventricular tachycardia in children is atrioventricular reentry tachycardia. This is a cross sectional descriptive study including fifty patients in the pediatric arrhythmology clinic. Demographic & clinical data were collected as well as results of ECG, 24 hour Holter recording and echocardiography. Atrioventricular re -entry tachycardia was the most common type of SVT in children. The most common presentation was tachycardia in infancy and palpitation in older children. Nineteen patients (38%) had associated congenital heart diseases. The type of abnormality bore no relation to the type of SVT
