Three hundred and sixty fresh table eggs (90 each of farm white, farm brown, baladi and duck eggs) wewe randomly collected from different markets in cairo and giza governorates (Egypt). every three eggs from each type were represented as one egg composite sample. the collected samples were pakaged each in a sterile plastic bag and transferred directly to the laboratory with a minimum of delay for microbiological examination
