  • الإكثار الدقيق والتوصيف الجزيئى لنبات الجاتروفا [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Online resources: Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Biochemistry Summary: A simple, rapid, efficient and reproducible protocol for micropropagation, callus induction and regeneration from callus of the unfulfilled promising biodiesel Jatropha curcas plant was established using MS medium supplemented with different growth regulators for all cultures of study. Obtained results showed that, shoot culture initiation achieved on 0.5 mg/l BA + 0.25 mg/l IBA. Multiplication and elongation was achieved using 0.5 mg/l BA in combination with 0.05 mg/l IBA. Elongated shootles were rooted on half MS media containing 1.0 mg/l IAA. The rooted plantlets were acclimatized to sand: peat-moss: vermiculate mixture successfully. Leaf and petiole explants were used for callus induction
