Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Prosthodontics Summary: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of LED different light curing modes (fast, ramp, pulse) of dual cured resin cement on the push out strength of fiber post. Thirty freshly extracted intact human mandibular premolars were selected and decoronated 2- mm coronal to cement - enamel junction. Conventional endodontic treatment was performed. The prepared roots were randomly divided into three groups (n = 10 each) according to the different three curing modes of light emitting diode. GLASSIX + glass fiber post was cemented using Variolink N dual cure resin cement. The teeth were sectioned perpendicular to their long axis in slices (2mm) at the cervical, middle and apical thirds. Interfacial bond at dentin-cement interface was examined (x500) using a scanning electron microscope. The push-out test of each sample was carried out for bond strength testing, subjected to a compressive loading at a crosshead speed of 0.5mm / min. Friedman{u2019}s test was used to compare between different regions. Wilcoxon signed-rank test used for pair-wise comparison between the regions when friedman{u2019}s test is significant. The significance level was set at P {u2264} 0.05
