Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Summary: Aim of the study: Evaluation of the combination of tooth ash mixed with bioglass as a bone substitute material to fill surgical defect after cyst enucleation, and to compare it with bioactive glass alone. Results: Radiodensity measurement throughout the study showed a decrease in bone density after three months in both groups. Then the radiodensity was raised again at the 6th month radiographic assessment in both groups
