  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Astronomy and Metorology Summary: The Magnetosphere of the earth undergoes oscillations of different periods and amplitudes . There is almost consensus that the variations are of solar origin while the earth's main magnetic field and secular variations are of internal origin . Our work is to analyze different types of magnetospheric oscillations regarding (the periods amplitude and frequency oc occurrence) performing statistical analysis of the correlations between oscillations and Solar wind flow and trying physical models to interpret the occurrence of the oscillations of the solar origin
