Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Physical Therapy - Department of Physical Therapy for Cardiopulmonary and Geriatrics Disorders
The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of the low level laser therapy and pulsed magnetic field therapy on the treatment of diabetic frozen shoulder. Forty women with diabetic frozen shoulder were divided randomly into two groups equal in number, their age ranged between 40-60 years; they were selected from the outpatient clinic of Egyptian Red Crescent in Banha, and the study was started from February 2012 till October 2012. Group (A) received low level laser therapy and shoulder mobilization exercises three times per week for four weeks. Group (B) received pulsed magnetic field therapy and shoulder mobilization exercises three times per week for four weeks. Both groups were subjected to visual analogue scale (VAS) and conventional goniometer measurements pre and post programs
