Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Physical Therapy - Department of Physical Therapy Cardiopulmonary and Geriatrics Disorders Summary: Reduced capacity for physical work and physical inactivity, being more prone to injury related to falls and hospitalizations, making the low hemoglobin level an important health care concern in the old age. Purpose: To detect the effect of aerobic versus resistive exercise on modulating hemoglobin level in elderly women. Results: Statistical analysis revealed a significant increase in the hemoglobin level in both groups A and B .The percentage of improvement was 10.16% and 1.55% for group A and group B respectively. Conclusion: It was concluded that both aerobic and resistive exercise has a significant effect on modulating the hemoglobin level in elderly women but the aerobic exercise had a significant effect than the resistive exercise
