Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Pharmacy - Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Summary: This study validates the utility of Gum arabic-conjugated gold nanoparticles (GA-auNPs) in laser induced photo-thermal inhibition of hepatocarcinogenesis emplpying a diethylnitrosamine-mediated hepatocellular carcinoma model and lung cancer model. the therapeutic effects of GA-AuNPs on the mediators of inflammation , angiogenesis, apoptosis , lipid peroxidation ; and the histopathological changes in preneoplastic liver tissues as well as tumor lung tissue have been inestigated
