Aim: To evaluate the use of PRF matrix as a method of treatment for gingival recession in comparison to subepithelial connective tissue graft combined with the tunnel technique. Results : There was no statistically significant difference between both groups concerning the total aesthetic score with (7.333±0.333) and (8.076±0.788) for PRF and SCTG respectively. Conclusions 1-The tunnel technique offers excellent esthetic outcome regardless of the used graft with perfect postoperative color match and no scarring. 2-Both PRFand subepithelial connective tissue graft combined with tunnel technique proved as an effective treatment modality for the gingival recession. 3-The morbidity and time needed for the second surgical site in the SCTG technique were eliminated in the PRF technique
