Group (2): 15 patients who received conventional TENS only on APs. Group (3): 15 patients who received polarized (P) light and conventional -+TENS over APs. Pain was evaluated by using visual analogue scale (VAS), and serum cortisol level (SCL), after one month and after two months of treatment. The physical therapy program began within the first 4 months after surgery for all groups. The treatment applied 3 times weekly for two months for all groups. patients in experimental groups received TENS over acupionts 3 times weekly with duration of 20 min for each session and polarized light over acupoints 3 times weekly with duration of 10 min for each session
