We propose a firewall-based solution reinforced with a Mandatory Access Control for protecting Android operating systems against applications' attacks, mainly, privilege escalation attacks. The proposed firewall protects the applications that have critical privilege permission. The Mandatory Access Control is to prevent the applications with excessive privileges from achieving the excessive privilege attacks. The evaluation results show that no negative impact influential on the performance of Android OS in case of adding our protection scheme
