  • افلام مرنة شفافة وموصلة من خليط من انابيب كربونية نانونية وشرائح البولى اثيلين للشاشات [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Online resources: Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Physical Chemistry Summary: In this work, Flexible, transparent, and conductive low density polyethylene (LDPE) composite films was prepared by optimizing the swellability of LDPE films in a well dispersed suspension of SWCNT in mixed THF-oDCB solvent under soincation. The combination of solvent mixture and sonication causes the polymer film to swell, allowing SWCNT{u201F}s to diffuse into the polymer surface and results in a thin, and transparent, but conducting surface layer of SWCNT{u201F}s embedded in the LDPE film. Thin films with a sheet resistance as low as 80 ohm/sq and an optical transparency greater than 85% at 550 nm was successfully obtained
