The study in this thesis included new analytical methods for the determination of some steroidal drugs. These methods include liquid chromatographic methods which were proposed for the application to detect products of a forced degradation study of mometasone furoate at 240 nm and for the estimation of its mixtures with salicylic acid, formoterol fumarate or miconazole nitrate in the presence of their degradation products and also for the estimation of fluorometholone mixtures with sodium cromoglycate or tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride in the presence of their degradation product. Derivative spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of mometasone furoate and miconazole nitrate in binary mixture at 270.5 nm and 282.1 nm, respectively. Also, second order derivative ratio spectrophotometric methods were developed for the determination of mometasone furoate in its mixtures with miconazole nitrate at 267.2 nm and 281.2 nm , mometasone furoate and salicylic acid at 259.5 nm and 293.3 nm and for the determination of fluorometholone in its mixture with tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride at 261.2 nm and 269.6, respectively
