Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Architectural Engineering Summary: The main objective of the present research is to study the relation between landscape and architecture to clarify aspects for fulfillment of the dynamic relation between architecture and landscape. To achieve the main objective it was important to study several themes in the research. First, the research introduces a new notion for relation between landscape and architecture: {u2018}Dynamism{u2019}, Second, the research clarify dynamism between architecture and landscape in the 20th and 21st century. That is through presenting trends of architecture versus trends of landscape and how each one interacts with the other through the timeline. Then research continues its objective by representing operations (reciprocity, materiality, threshold, insertion, and infrastructure) defined dynamic relation between landscape and architecture
