Body surface potential mapping for cardiac muscle using 3d wavelet transform / Mohamed Abou Seree Aouf Mohamed ; Supervised Amr Sharawy

By: Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextLanguage: English Publication details: Cairo : Mohamed Abouseree Aouf Mohamed , 2015Description: 129 P. : charts , facsimiles ; 30cmOther title:
  • المسح الكهربي لعضلة القلب مستخدما المويجات ثلاثية الابعاد [Added title page title]
Subject(s): Online resources: Available additional physical forms:
  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Systems and Biomedical Engineering Summary: The research introduces a practical solution for recording body surface potential maps using the standard 12-lead ECG with different positions. We detect QRS complexes using filter banks and consequently build up a cardiac map using 3D wavelet transform. Our results for the cardiac map demonstrate the changes that occur for the cardic electrical activity which represents the patient case in color degradation patterns
