Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine- Department of Operative dentistry Summary: This in vitro study was carried out to determine the depth of cure (assessed through micro-hardness testing at 1, 2, 3 and 4mm depths) and the adaptation to cavity walls of three bulk-fill resin composite materials. The investigated materials were Filtek Bulk Fill Flowable Resin Composite, SDR (Smart Dentin Replacement) Bulk Fill Flowable Resin Composite and Quixfil Bulk Fill Posterior Resin Composite, each with manufacturer-specific self-etch adhesive system. A total number of thirty freshly extracted, intact human premolars were selected for this study. Standardized Class II box-shape cavity preparations were performed on the proximal surface of the teeth (3mm BL.x 2mm MD x 4mm OG)
