Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Science - Department of Organic Chemistry Summary: This research aim to novel synthesis of thiophen, azole and azines which we use 3-acetyl coumarine as start material which react with malononitrile and its derivatives in the prescence of elemental sulfur, DMF and piperidine to obtain thiophene derivative with coumarine which are used in synthesis of azole and azines. The compounds are synthesized confirmed with spectral and chemical analysis. The biological evaluation of compounds are tested on three different tumor cell lines such as breast adenocarcinoma, CNS cancer and non small lung cancer
