Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine- Department of Neurosurgery Summary: of them (coflex and X-stop ) we concluded that in cases with coflex spacer there was significant improvement in low back pain and claudication distance and radiologically there was significant reduction in end plate angle , increase in posterior disc height ,decrease in anterior disc height and increase in foraminal height and width but in cases with X-stop there was significant improvement in low back pain and claudication distance and radiologically there was no significan t improvement in end plate improvement in end plate
