In a world full of new technologies, the new designs of the modern office spaces does mainly depend on the artificial illumination by which the window glazed area is usually of treated tinted or reflective glazing, reducing the dependence of it in providing the required natural illuminance levels. While this study helps us better understand the problems of the low and high natural illuminance levels on the health of building occupants especially in the office building types as the employees usually spend minimum of 8 hours a day during the whole year, highlighting the different problems caused by glare. Besides, reflecting on the daylight and glare codes and its recommendations worldwide, while examining the possibility of reducing glare and providing good levels of day light using different architectural elements. Added to evaluating them through different simulation and computer programs. The study also provides a guideline for architects consists of 5 phases starting from the pre-designing stage till the final design, discussing the present possible simulations in an attempt of guiding the architects to enhance the visual working environment
