The present study was performed to evaluate the effect of local administration of recombinant human vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on orthodontic tooth movement and relapse. Twenty Beagle dogs were included in the study, age range from 10-12 months, at the start of experiment. Fixed orthodontics appliances were applied to the dogs teeth. Their maxillary second premolars were mesially moved for three months, following first premolar extraction. The dogs were divided into two main groups
