Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Institute of Statistical Studies and Research - Department of Mathematical Statistics Summary: In this thesis we propose a new three distributions of the weighted distribution to be known as Weighted Quasi Lindley distribution (WQL), Weighted Lomax distribution (WL) and Weighted Generalized Inverse Weibull distribution (WGIW). The Weighted Quasi Lindley distribution. Statistical properties, such as moments, moment generating function, and reliability measures are discussed. Applications of the WQL distribution on a set of real data and simulation study are also provided. we present a new distribution so called Weighted Lomax distribution included, the pdf and CDF of Weighted lomax distribution and its sub-models. Expansion of distribution has been introduced. The statistical properties (the moments and moment generating function) are discussed. A simulation study of weighted Lomax is presented. Proposes a new distribution , referred to as Weighted Generalized Inverse Weibull distribution, The shapes of the pdf and CDF of Weighted generalized inverse Weibull distribution and its sub-models. Expansion of distribution has been introduced. The statistical properties are investigated. The reliability measures (the survival function and the hazard rate function) are obtained. Application of the WGIWD and a simulation study are discussed
