The examined animals were 202 specimens represented as nine species belonging to five families. Animals were collected during the period from September 2012 to September 2013. Two species of the examined specimens belonging to family Bufonidae of class Amphibia, these were the green toad Bufo viridis and the Egyption toad Bufo regularis, while the other examined seven species belonging to class Reptilia, these were the berber skink Eumeces schneideri (F: Scincidae), rough tail rock agama Agama (Laudakia) stellio (F: Agamidae), desert agama Agama (Trapelus) mutabilis (F: Agamidae), common chamaeleon Chamaeleo chamaeleon (F: Chamaeleonida), spiny tailed lizard Uromastyx aegyptius (F: Agamidae) the forskal's or shokari sand snake Psammophis schokari (F: Colubridae) and Scincus scincus (F: Scincidae). Two different species of digenean parasites were recovered, these were Postorchigenes sp. and Malagashitrema sp.; five species of cestode parasites, Oochristica mutabilis, a new species of Oochoristica sp. nov., Protocephalus sp. nov., Mesocestoides sp. and Ophiotaenia sp.; six different species of nematode parasites which were Parapharyngodon lamothei, Parapharyngodon japonicas, Parapharyngodon kenyaensis, Parapharyngodon duci, Thelandros vietnamensis, and Procamallanus sp. nov., two different species of acanthocephalan parasites which were Centrorhynchus fasciatum and new species of Centrorhynchus sp. nov., and one Pentastomid Raillietiella aegypti. Also, the seasonal prevalences of the investigated parasites were studied. new host and localty records were reported for some of the recovered parasites according to the morphological and morphometric studies by light and scan electron microscopy
