Forty elderly subjects were included in this study of both sexes (19men, 21women) with age ranged between from 55 to 65 years old. They were coming from employee in my hospital and clinic in which I work and from my relative in the period from January 2013 to march 2014. They were assigned into two groups equal in number. Monocytes were evaluated as an index before conduction of training program and after 3 months. Group (A): Twenty patients participated in a supervised resistive exercise program and aerobic exercise performed 3times per week for 3months. Group (B): Twenty patients participated in a moderate aerobic exercise on treadmill. The results of this study monocytes decreased in Group (A) the percentage of improvement was 21.27 %( {u2193}{u2193}{u2193}decreased). But there was non statistical significant difference in Group (B) the percentage of improvement was 1.18% ({u2193}decreased). It was concluded that resistive training is beneficial for elderly people
