Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Commerce - Department of Business Administration Summary: The main purpose is to profile the main factors that affect the successful implementation of GSCM approach in textile industry in Egypt. Most of previous researches focused on the successful implementation in Taiwan and China. Previous researches also focused on the effect of GSCM implementation over performance rather than identifying factors of successful implementation. Researcher conducted focus group with different level managers in different departments, interviews with industry experts, and survey using self -administrated questionnaires. 210 managers were surveyed, after data cleaning and screening, only 182 questionnaires were valid for analysis using smart PLS v.3.2.0. According to previous literature and researches the most important factors are market, governmental regulation, suppliers and Internal factors that affect the GSCM successful implementation. Research findings approved a significant relation between these factors and successful implementation. The research{u2019}s value comes from applying in Egypt, as a new context. Also textile industry is considered as one of most important fund sources in Egypt. Future research should run an experiment to make their results more generalized. Nevertheless, researcher applies on one industry. Future research can conduct a comparison between different industries to generalize results
