Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Department of Anatomy and Embryology Summary: The morphology of the female genital system of adult turkey and its angioarchitecture were investigated using thirty adult healthy hens. The morphological study (macro- and micro- anatomy) were carried on fifteen hens and showed that the female tract constituted of two main parts on the left side of celomic cavity; the ovary and the oviduct, where the latter was found to be divided into five distinctly different regions; the infundibulum, the magnum, the isthmus, the shell gland (uterus) and the vagina, these regions were defined through shape, relations to adjacent organs and histological sections. The angioarchitecture of the genital system in female turkey were applied on fifteen adult hens. The arterial supply is oriented by; the ovarian artery of the descending aorta, the cranial and the caudal branches of accessory cranial oviductal artery of external iliac artery, the cranial and the caudal branches of the middle oviductal artery of ischiatic artery in addition to the lateral uterine, the caudal oviductal and the vaginal arteries of the internal pudendal trunk. The venous drainage is achieved by; the ovarian veins, the infundibular and the magnal tributaries of the cranial oviductal veins in addition to the magnal , the isthmal and uterine veins of the middle oviductal tributaries as well as the caudal oviductal veins of the internal pudendal trunk vein
