The thesis presents a simulation of di{uFB00}erent array con{uFB01}gurations. These arrays are mounted on plate-like structures with di{uFB00}erent simulated cracks scenarios. The MUSIC technique is used to process the array received signals. MUSIC succeeded to detect one point crack, but two problems prevent the MUSIC to detect one or multiple {uFB01}nite length cracks. The solutions of these problems are presented. To verify the MUSIC technique ability, its results are compared with an advanced SHM crack detection method, which is the Embedded Ultrasonic Structural Radar, EUSR
