This work was to study the effect of diatomite at the rate of (10,20 and 30%),putrescine at the rate of (100,200 and 300ppm) and alpha tocopherol at the rate of (400,800 and 1200 ppm) in addition to control (distilled water) on vegetative growth, flowering, chemical constituents and anatomical structure of Antirrhinum majus. plant during (2011/2012 and 2012/2013). Using diatomite at the rate of 30% gave highest increase in all characters of vegetative growth, flowering, chlorophylls content, anthocyanin content, total carbohydrates content, minerals content, stem diameter, the xylem thickness, epidermis, cortex of stem anatomical structure, the leaf thickness of palisade, spongy tissue, xylem, dphloem development for floral bud which was earlier than other concentrations 10 and 20%
