The green tea is one of the tea types that is famous with its beneficial effect on health generally and especially on weight loss. Many weight loss medications in the market contain green tea extract (GTE) as an active component hence the risk of over consumption of large amount of green tea extract in a concentrated form risking the incidence of hepatotoxicity. The aim of this work was to study the biochemical, morphological and histological changes in the liver following the administration of different doses of GTE
