Hospitals in developing countries suffer from limited financial and competent human resources. From the medical equipment point of view, there is neither enough budget nor qualified personnel for maintaining all devices on equal parts and according to manufacturer{u2019}s specifications. This thesis proposes an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to support decisions in clinical engineering, addressing particularly an application for medical equipment maintenance decision in developing countries. It helps improving prioritization decision making
