Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Metallurgical Engineering Summary: In this study, a new approach was modified to predict the performance of water drive gas condensate reservoirs using general material balance equation. The developed model was validated using published case. The results of the developed model were compared with the published case to show a good agreement between them. After that, the developed model was used to analyze the production data from Yemen gas condensate reservoir to predict the performance of the selected Yemen gas condensate reservoir. A gas oil ratio and oil formation volume factor correlations for gas condensate reservoirs were modified. The average absolute error percent was 13.24% for the new gas oil ratio correlation and was 2.2% for the new oil formation volume factor correlation. The developed model with the new correlations of gas oil ratio and oil formation volume factor used to predict the performance of the Yemen gas condensate reservoir to show that the results of the new developed model is more close to the actual production data of the Yemen gas condensate reservoir during the period where the production data are available
