Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Aerospace Engineering Summary: The objective of this work is to build a demonstration model of satellite motion control. The testbed assembly consists of a two axes gimbaled structure with mounted satellite model and two reaction wheels which are used for motion control. The objective of the testbed is to enable, examining and testing of preliminary satellite control algorithms. The purpose of the work is to tackle and discuss the technological issues involved in building such a device in a university lab environment. The work is supplemented by simulation of the testbed motion and comparing the results with results obtained from the experimental testbed
