Acetabulum is a hemispherical cavity formed by parts of the ilium, pubis and ischium which rejoin in a Y-shaped cartilage of the hip bone . More information is needed about the anatomical parameters of the acetabulum of the normal hip joint and the influence of age, sex, race, heredity and geographical areas
