Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture - Department of Plant Pathology and Physiology Summary: This research was conducted to select, optimize culture conditions of the isolates Bacillus polymyxa, Bacillus brevis, Pseudomonas putida, Pseudomonas fluorescens and Streptomyces griseus for biomass and antifungal production and to evaluate the bio-control agents (BCAs) and their selected products: Chitinase and Polymyxin B against the die-back disease of grape-vine caused by Lasiodiplodia theobromae on grapevine plants in greenhouse and field application. The results showed that P. putida was the highly effective as bio-fungicide followed by chitinase
