Hepatitis C virus infection is a world widespread disorder that may involve different organs. Combination of IFN alpha& ribavirin for treatment of hepatitis C may be associated with some side effects. In our study the frequency & clinical patterns of cutaneous side effects in 100 patients receiving combination of interferon alfa & ribavirin for HCV & in 100 patients with chronic HCV not receiving those drugs were assessed. There was a significant difference in laboratory findings of the patients in Hb, Alkaline phosphatase and PCR values. Most common cutaneous manifestations in cases receiving IFN\RBV were trichomegaly of eyelashes & eyebrows, injection site reaction, graying of hair & melasma
