Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of General Surgery Summary: The aim of our study was to show the variability in penile length and its relation to body measurements (height, weight or suprapubic fat thickness), and to find out who need surgical correction and prober time range for correction, and follow up of complications to those who underwent immediate and delayed correction, the study was carried out on 46 of patients suspected to have buried penis. All patients were subjected to history taking, general examination, body measurements including the height, weight and BMI, measuring of suprapubic fat thickness, local genital examination, and measurement of penile size (length, girth, prepuce length). The results showed that there is positive correlation between penile length with height, weight, suprapubic fat thickness, penile girth and prepuce length, and in comparison with the normal, the most significant item is that in these cases there are shorter stretched penile length than normal by 2.5 cm and difference between stretched and apparent penile length is more than 1.5cm, the proper {u10019F}me range for correc{u10019F}on is between 6 months and before school age, and not all children need surgical correction
