Garnet nanoparticles of Sm Sr Fe O; (0.0{u2264}x{u2264}0.3) and 3-x x 5 12 Sm Bi Sr Fe O (0.0{u2264}y{u2264}0.15) were prepared by double sintering 2.8-y y 0.2 5 12 ceramic technique. X- ray diffraction analyses were carried out to study the role of strontium and bismuth content on the phase formation as well as on the lattice parameter, density, porosity and crystallite size of these samples. Scanning electron microscope and Energy dispersive X-ray for all prepared samples were carried out. The magnetic parameters were measured using faraday{u2019}s method in the range of temperature (300K-600K) at 1010, 1340 and 1660Oe. The vibrating sample magnetometer was used to measure the other essential magnetic parameters at (-20000{u2264}H{u2264}20000). The magnetoelectric coefficient of the samples were measured in presence of applied field from 650 to 2300Oe
