Under Egyptian conditions survey of SLRSV, RpRSV, PNRSV, ArMV and ToRSV was carried out during 2013-2014 and 2015 in different governorates. SLRDV was isolated from strawberry plants by biological purification and identified by biological studies. SLRSV diagnosis was performed using serological and molecular studies which confirmed with direct RNA sequencing and phylogenetic analysis for the coat protein gene. Cytopathological studies, chemical analysis and tissue culture techniques were also studied
