Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Prosthodontics Summary: The increase in patient's demands for the superior esthetics, together with the improvement in ceramic technology, has resulted in a variety of all ceramic materials and techniques. The aim of this investigation was to evaluate the internal fit of thin ceramic veneers using group (Glamsmile) and individual cementing application protocols. Two sets of mounted acrylic resin teeth were used for the construction of the ceramic veneers :(both were constructed from IPS e-max CAD). The first group: Subdivided into two subgroups: The first sub-group: the teeth received laminate veneer preparation on one side. The second sub-group: the teeth did not receive laminate veneer preparation on the other side. For the first group, the CAD/CAM constructed veneers as received from the lab were cemented with the conventional individual cementation technique. The second group: subdivided into two subgroups: The first sub-group: the teeth received laminate veneer preparation on one side. Summary and conclusions. The second sub-group: The teeth did not receive laminate veneer preparation on the other side. For the second group, the ceramic veneers were received from the glamsmile lab and were cemented using the glamsmile technique (group cementation technique). Laminate veneers were constructed from IPS e-max CAD blocks, and tetric N bonding agent was applied while the porcelain veneers were treated with 9% hydrofluoric acid and silane coupling agent before cementation with variolink N adhesive resin cement. The veneers were cemented either individually or as a group in either the individual cementation protocol or the group cementation protocol respectively
