Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics Summary: Our study showed that there were significant differences regarding abortion, preterm labor and intrauterine growth restriction in the case group compared to the control group. There was a relative increase in the incidence of PPROM, hypertensive disorders, placenta previa and the rate of cesarean section between both groups. In conclusion, there is a relation between threatened abortion and adverse pregnancy outcomes. We should encourage more prospective studies to find the best predictors for better outcome
