To fulfill the target of this study, a total of 24 rats were selected. They divided into four groups :Group 1:control group, Group 2: hypertensive induction group which have been fed on high fat diet supplemented with NaCl and fructose in drinking water to induce hypertension, Group 3:ethanolic ginger extract treated group, Group 4: aqueous ginger extract treated group. Results obtained from this study showed significant improvement in blood pressure measurements in groups of rats treated with either ethanolic or aqueous extracts of ginger as compared with hypertensive induction group. The results of histopathology revealed that there was damage in the heart and aorta in hypertensive induction group. This damage was improved in treated groups with both of ethanolic and aqueous ectracts
