Restoring the patency of infarct related artery in acute myocardial infarction can be achieved using a new treatment strategy of facilitated percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) , where half dose thrombolytic therapy and antiplatelets are used prior to primary PCI , the aim of this study to compare the efficacy and safety of facilitated PCI to conventional primary PCI , 20 pts in each group were studied , where facilitated group showed a better epicardial flow (TIMI) , myocardial perfusion and clinical outcomes with low hemorrhagic complications
