The present study deals with sequence stratigraphy concepts based mainly on core section ans well correlations along with 3-D seismic data interpretation.this implies a detailed analysis of sedimentary facies in cores in order to locate them along a single despositional model does not provide a precies enough understanding of the resrvoir architecture. Applying the principle of sequence stratigraphy, the middle minagish member is divided into two 3 rd order despositional sequences with trangressive facies tract of the third despositional sequences with transgressive facies tract of the third despositional sequence of the overlying upper Minagish formation. These sequences are classified into ten 3rd to 4th order facies tract, according to litho-facies variation and biofacies analysis as well. The combined effects of variations in sediment supply and sea level changes control sequences and facies tracts with their internal facies associations. The middle minagish sediments of this time span of the Arabian plate-8 were desposite in low angle homoclinal shallow marine ramp settings
